Kadai Paneer


Ingredients

250 gms paneer diced in half inch cubes
2 piece capsicum diced in half in cubes
1 big onion , cut in half inch cubes

For masala or gravy

2 big onions grind in a mixer jar
4 big tomatoes grind in a mixer jar
1 tbsp green chilly ginger paste
1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp oil
1 tsp red chilly powder
2 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp haldi
Pinch of garam masala
1 tsp kitchen king masala
Pinch of elaichi powder
2 tbsp kaju aur magaz ke beej ka paste
2 tbsp malai
1 tsp kasoori methi
2-3 tbsp milk or water
1 tsp jeera
3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 big elaichi

Method

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and put jeera, cloves and cinnamon , let them splutter , then add onion paste . Cook on low heat till becomes brown , then take out in a bowl. In the same pan put tomato paste and cook on low heat till the moisture evaporates . In another pan heat 1 tbsp oil and put green chilly ginger paste , saute for a few seconds . Now add diced capsicum , saute for 2 minutes , then add diced onion , saute for 3-4 minutes more . Now add red chilly powder , dhania powder and haldi, saute for a while then add onion paste and tomato paste . Cook for 3-4 minutes , then add malai , cook till the oil comes out , then add kaju and magaz ka paste . Cook further for 5-7 minutes. Now add milk or water and paneer cubes , mix well . Add garam masala , kitchen king masala and kasoori methi , mix well . It is ready to serve , take out in a serving bowl and enjoy with naan , roti or paranthas .
