 Vada - pav 



Ingredients 

4-5 boiled and mash potato 

1tspn ginger garlic green chilli paste 
1tspn oil for tadka 
1tspn saunf 
1/2 tspn turmric powder 
2tspn red chilli powder 
Salt to taste 
1/2 tspn lemon juice 
Chopped coriander leaves 
For batter. ..
1cup besan 
Pinch of turmric powder 
Salt to taste 
1/4 tspn ajwain 
Pinch of baking soda 
1tspn oil.

Water as required .
Oil for deep fry. 


Method

Heat one tspn oil in a pan, add saunf,now add ginger garlic green chilli paste, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt,switch off the gas. Add mashed potato and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix again. Keep aside and let them cool. In between make batter from besan. Mix all ingredients and mix well, batter should be not thin .Make small balls from potato mixture. Dip each potato ball in batter and deep fry till crispy. 
Take one pav and cut in middle. Apply green chatney and tomato sauce inside the pav, put one vada and press lightly the pav.
Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce. Mumbai's most favorite snack is ready.
