Paneer Kofta

PANEER KOFTA

Ingredients:

Paneer Kofta Balls:


Potatoes: 2 medium sized pieces
Paneer 200gm
Green chili 2 pieces
Coriander Leaves
Oil for deep fry

Spices as per taste: 

Salt, Black pepper

Gravy:

Onion: 3-4 small pieces
Tomato: 4 pieces
Garlic: 5-7 pieces
Green chili : 1piece

Cashew Nut paste – 2 tablespoon
Oil 3 Tablespoon

Spices as per taste: 

Salt, Cumin Seeds, Asafetida, Turmeric, Red pepper, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala, Kasuri Methi,

Recipe:

Paneer Kofta Balls:


Boil Potatoes and peel it. Mash it and add grated paneer to it.Add salt, black pepper, coriander and chopped green chili to it and make balls of the mixture.
Now take oil in a deep pan and deep fry the balls.

Gravy:

Take 2 tablespoon oil in a pan. Heat it and add cumin seeds to it. Also add asofeidia.
Now add chopped onions and saute it till it turns light brown. Add crushed ginger and garlic to it. Also add chopped green chili and tomatoes to the mixture. Saute it completely for 5 -7 minutes on medium heat.Now add salt, red pepper, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and cashew paste to the mixture and mix them thoroughly.
Take the mixture now and cool it for 10-15 minutes. Now churn the mixture in your mixer grinder so that it becomes like a paste. Now in a pan, take 1 tablespoon of oil and heat it. Add the gravy now in the pan. Saute the gravy again for 10 minutes on slow heat.
Add water as per your requirement. If you want thick, add very less water.Once the water is mixed completely and starts boiling, Add Kasuri Methi now and gravy is ready.
Add Kofta or balls only when you are ready for lunch or dinner. Don’t add and keep it before. Garma Garam paneer Kofta is ready to eat... Serve hot with Roti..
