THEPLA


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tbsp oil
1 cup curds
1/4 tsp haldi
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp ajwain
1/4 tsp jeera
salt to taste
whole wheat flour for rolling
oil for kneading and cooking.

METHOD:

Combine Curd n all the ingredients in a bowl n mix well n make a paste. Use this paste to knead  semi-soft dough use water if needed.
Knead the dough well using a little oil. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a using whole wheat flour for rolling.
Heat a non-stick tava and cook each circle, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
Serve hot with curd nd chutny.
